my take on muhammara

muhammara // kitschandcamera.commuhammara is a syrian roasted red pepper dip traditionally made of pepper, walnuts, olive oil, breadcrumbs + pomegranate molasses.  in an effort to use ingredients on hand, i started making this dip without the latter, and it still tastes incredible.  i brought it to one family get-together and due to high demand, it’s become my go-to appetizer for family gatherings.  it’s unique and pairs incredibly with ..well, anything.  i’d suggest serving with feta, simple crackers and some veggies.

MUHAMMARA RECIPE serves 4-6
